One punch kill

What I will describe will be devoid of the medical implications as I can not say what goes on in the instances I am about to recount.

I have seen Dillman Sensei strike the back of the Tricep (TW-12) bringing the Uke off his feet and onto the knees. He the flicked the corner of the eyebrow with his ...

One punch kill

Mattson Sensei, et al,

There are several nerve endings around the area as well that are all within a correct activation cycle with each other, so from a Kyusho standpoint it makes sense as well. Listing them as GB-1, Tw-23, GB-2 & 3,
TW-22 also some of the grabbing that may have preceeded the shot ...

I realize this is way in advance, but I was just informed of this at a seminar this past Saturday.

Dillman Sensei will be holding a seminar February 20th, 1999 in Piscataway, NJ in which he will be bringing with him all his notes and Medical studies to illustrate exactly what the Kyusho involves in ...

Test Stories

This is a personal story from my Shodan test in Kenpo, which now is humorous, it's amazing what time does to distort your thinking.

After a 1 1/2 hour advanced class twelve of us were instructed to step outside the back of this strip mall Dojo (Southern California) into the noon day sun. We were ...

Interesting Uechi Article

In the article I noted that Mr. Legg included a statement about how all the strikes were to specific parts of the anatomy. Does anyone know Mr. Legg as to have him post the specifics of some target zones, I would love to know where they would most likely want to strike their opponents. This could ...

Glasheen Sensei,

I hope this post is not an intrusion, but I know you support the investigation of this Man and his claims. Since the first posting I have arranged for Sifu Mooney to come to Massachusetts to prove his Claims. This will not be a clinical testing as I am not aware of a testing ...

Black Belt 9/98 - Chris Thomas article on PPT

Bill San,

Section 1. Sanchin position may have been used this way for measurement purposes or to avoid the wiring or instruments attached to his body as a lot of the KOs had to be adjusted for these and other reasons. As I was taught the RyuKyu Sanchin and that stance is identical to Uechis ...

Black Belt 9/98 - Chris Thomas article on PPT

I forgot to mention that the individual being KO'ed by Dillman Sensei is Ed Lake, 7th Degree RyuKyu Kempo and one of the most capable and knowledgable men involved with Kyusho that I have met (great down to earth individual as well).
