I'm BACK

Hello All. I did not fall off the face of the Earth. My computer was hit by lightening about a month ago and just now got back online. Hope to get back involved with all the discussions.

It's all in our language

I really am not interested in taking the word "woman" or anything of the likeness from the dictionary. I really have no problem being a woman and I actually admire men who are "gentlemen" and open doors and allow me to walk thru a door first.

And I think it is possible for men to treat women with ...

As for the Million Mom March, I didn't hear about it and there was no where near a million women at ...

Worth another shot

Lori,

I suppose you are right about the "steak and tiger" and to not present yourself as a target for the predator.

But What about the innocent women and children who are leaving the library during the day or the grocery store or the mall? Women who send no mixed signals nor wear revealing ...

Did the "chi-master" just look at you in attempt to knock you out? Or did he place his hands over you? Just curious.

Publications on Women in Martial Arts

What kind of publications exactly are you looking for? I really don't understand the topic of your paper. Could you be a little more specific? And I will see what I can find for you.

Phenomenal Woman

I would also like to add something else along the lines of the wicked ways post.

Many years ago, I use to make gas reports for some gas stations. At one particular store, the owner called me baby. I immediately stuck out my hand to shake his hand and said, "I'm sorry. I thought I introduced myself ...

Phenomenal Woman

Lori,

Loved the poem!!!

Well, I was clueless about the wicked ways thread so I went to Van's forum and got informed.

I will say this. Women really have no idea how men think. I have conversations with my husband and I am amazed in the difference between the sexes.

I have been told that men ...
