Samurai vs Karate?

In one of the other forums, someone poses a question concerning the Samurai. To tell you honestly, I didn't read the post because I didn't want to see another "who do you think would win" question, so I skipped right by it. Now chances are that it is a very astute question by someone out there and I'm just too shallow to go and read it.

Oh heck, I'll go read it and then come back and see what's going on.

BTW, I was just writing this thread to tell everyone that I have been around, but have been extremely busy with work, school, and the dojo, and wanted to apologize for stranding the forum a little bit.
