I could feel the tension from this side of the camera. There was a lot of hate going on around there.
I'm not a big fan of hanging anyone in effigy - no matter how dastardly. It's just an invitation to incite violence and create a martyr culture. It doesn't make sense to me to make a public spectacle out of hanging OBL. My thought is you quietly off the guy so he doesn't get any publicity. Then we get on with life.

I think the location is a big issue.
Yeah lots of people are alright with OBL getting lampooned, many people dont care, hell most people laugh.
But infront of a mosque? WHat does that mean? What is the intent of that? From what i understand, most people paid little attention to the effigy overall and just went to prayer. My issue is with some people who appeared with the intent to bash, like the dude in the beginning.
Saw it with sound again:
The fat white haired dude in the beginning was pretty funny. 30 000 references? At most i found ten, and even THOSE are disputable when looked at contextually and as a whole.
