Filipino Martial Arts Seminar
March 17, 2007
Come and gain knowledge and practical instruction in the Filipino Martial Arts, from one of the Northeast’s few Certified Instructors.
Sifu Raffi Derderian from the Derderian Academy of Martial Arts of Rhode Island will be holding a special “One Day Only” seminar here in Richmond, open to the public. All phases of stick and knife combative techniques will be explored with additional emphasis on grappling ranges of combat. You will leave with a solid understanding of these areas of martial arts.
Sifu Derderian is a Full Instructor of Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts. He has been training in martial arts for 33 years and holds Black Belts in several systems of martial arts.
All martial art styles and interested individuals are welcome to attend. Come in comfortable clothes. Participants are encouraged to bring practice sticks and/or knives if possible, but there will be some on hand. Also weapons will be on sale at the seminar.
Location: American Family Fitness Center, 4300 Pouncey Track Rd.
Time: 11:30-4:30 in Studio A with some short breaks (registration starts at 11:30 am)
Cost: $35.00 on or before March 16, 2007; $40.00 at the door
