By and large I agree with you, although: I do wish we could all agree on the importance of conserving resources/energy - a topic which crosses regional boundaries etc.

But that's a thread all to itself.

In terms of regional solutions -- in my neck of the woods dog sled teams definitely produce more gas than they use........and when they wear out you can always eat 'em -- now there's food for thought!!!
