When I see those three terms thrown together in this context, I'm thinking something very specific to my mathematical training.
  • predictable = deterministic
  • random = stochastic
  • chaos = deterministic unpredictablility (mathematical chaos)
Is this what you were thinking of, Max? Because if it was, you're showing a side of yourself that I haven't seen before.

And that's a pretty darned good way of seeing human behavior in general. And when you think about it, understanding "real fighting" starts with understanding the human mind(s).

Bill ,I Have not been o the forums over weekend , saw this yesterday ,pushed for time .

Obviously my thinking was not linear ,you will also find in mix up within the thread; random /predictable /chaos,my posts.

Maths ok. but I did not arrange them as formula.such as ; how many nueropeptides spill out into the brain /body in heated moments ,again a random number or a predictable one or a chaotic number .

When I left Wado ryu ,I was looking in a superfical way at random . back later . Max.

Bill , I see [random /predicatable /and chaos ] as integral elements in the fight ,and life in general .

Obviously a fight involves various dynamics ,yet no matter what the tactics involved they have to pass through the triad above in some shape or form ,and this is were schools of thought vary upon shape or form at the moments of truth .

So to the fighting brain this triad of information needs to addressed and trained ,I would say in most fighters a basic reaction to it exists ,yet study of the triad is something else to my mind ,
