Yeah you wear the uniform that I wore, and my family and forefathers before me.
Don't get all glum and depressed on us, corruption is the American way, according to Congress, and no matter how much any of us might bitch about the current state of affairs, it doesn't take much research to see that we are standing on the shoulders of men and women of many colors who endured so much more hardship than most of us, and who literally paid in blood for the present that we have now, to build upon.
As far as sharks go, come on, think about it. We've been swimming with sharks for a while now. WTF do you even mean by that statement? Dude, sharks? Go back to school and learn about American history. Maybe you have a different definition of sharks than I have.

It is a phenomenon, Jason. Quite frankly the Nation has no idea what it is getting into. All the electorate knew was that many were tired of what had been. They lashed out at the party in power. An economic downturn brought in both JFK and Clinton. And now there is Obama.Jason Rees wrote:

I wear the uniform of a nation led by a man who believes the poor have the right to the money of people who earned it.
Obama is nothing if not a master orator. He has the ability to talk about nothing and make a crowd of disparate believers think he was addressing their concerns. It is a story that has been told and retold. To generations who knew and/or studied about Adolph Hitler and The Third Reich, it should give you pause. Swaying millions... for what purpose?
Mr. no resume, blank slate will be no longer. It's time to put up or shut up. It's time to stop talking and start walking. And then we will know.
Well they say time loves a hero
but only time will tell
If he's real, he's a legend from heaven
If he ain't he was sent here from hell
We have no idea what we are getting into, Jason. But time will tell...
First and foremost, we are a Nation grateful for your service.Jason Rees wrote:

Second, you are not alone. The minority party has more fun. They no longer have to defend "the status quo." Now they get to seize every false step and rail their opponents.
Like you, I worry about the undeserving getting the wealth of the hardest working, and government destroying the industries that are the crown jewels of the world.
Like you, I know that government never has done it better.
I am concerned about "The Fairness Doctrine" once again being shoved down our throats, stifling our freedom of the press. Like we don't know which party wants to benefit from silencing the voice of conservative radio...
Like you, I am concerned about our 2nd amendment rights - even though the Supreme Court may have just made the landmark decision of the century. Maybe we're fine, just in the nick of time.
Whatever, Jason, you are now the voice of a minority. Cherish it. Never succumb to tyranny of the masses. You have served your country, and you have earned the right to be heard. And no matter what you believe, I will stand beside you.
Meanwhile, ponder this thought. The 60s was the generation of the hippies, and a more mature boomer generation ushered in the Reagan years. This young generation brought Obama to power. And when they are a hard working, middle-aged, middle class with kids, their ideologies too will change.
It always does.

I wear the uniform of a nation that voted a man into office with not just a small hint of corruption behind him, but several hints.
I wear this uniform defending people who vote for a man whose sole qualification for the office of the President of the United States seems to be 'Hope.'
I can't tell you how that makes me feel, but I guarantee there won't be tears of joy coming out of my eyes.
I'm going to help my dad hide his money and his guns, and sell my stock in news organizations, because we can kiss gun rights, personal property, and freedom of the press goodbye.

Bill: "Like you, I worry about the undeserving getting the wealth of the hardest working, and government destroying the industries that are the crown jewels of the world."
I'd just like to take a moment here Bill, and ask you were you have been living for the last 50 years.
I really especially take issue with the words "undeserving" and "wealth of the hardest working".
Oh, and also "government destroying the industries that are the crown jewels of the world."
1: there is no "wealth of the hardest working". The wealth goes to the hardly working. See Andrew Carnegie and the Rockefellers for further research.
2: The crown jewels of the world don't give a ##### about America, but rather hiring slave labor anywhere they can find it. I'd like to see just one example of "government" destroying any productive and profitable industry.
Maybe you would like to bring back the common practice of factories and mines hiring private armies to kill the families of striking laborers.
Wealth of the hardest working, my ass. That is so ridiculous that I don't know what to say. Maybe you could change it to something more realistic like " the wealth of those who are born into power, and have been shown how to bribe and manipulate their way into economic lordship, using the purse strings of politicians and the ignorance and fear of the common man, the power of the gun, bought and paid for by the profits paid in sweat and blood by the "great unwashed".
Wealth of the most conniving, and bloodthirsty, or so it reads in my history book.
Maybe the wealth of the most evil, how's that? Do you want me to aspire to great wealth at the expense of you and your family, while using the power of propaganda and buying the favors of the media to make your simple needs seem unreasonable and uncivilized?
Ever heard of pirates Bill? What about buccaneers, swashbucklers, tyrants, dictators, criminals, murderers, thieves, highwaymen, etc.. and etc...

And this whole diatribe is utterly retarded because there isn't a single person on this website that knows what real wealth or power is.
The middle class is played off the lower class, and the upper class just doesn't really exist.
So you've got someone like Bill, defending something he doesn't even know anything about, by demonizing the masses who are below him in economic status.
As long as we can look at things in a binary sense, and fight over the scraps, the master is happy.
God help you if your master doesn't have your best interests at heart.

Man, that Hitler reference sure came fast. Oh well.
Seriously though, I am quite disappointed with California and what looks to be a yes vote on the gay marriage ban. I really thought they were better than that.
Oh hush up and start signing me over those checks. I've got pizza to order while sitting on the couch laughing at people who believe in an honest day's work. In the coming months you'll be expected to sell all to sell your guns and mail me the money. But don't worry you'll be able to get a get a tax write-off for marrying someone of the same sex, renouncing Jesus (because His Excellency Barack Obama is a satanist) or having an abortion.Could just be my foul mood, but I couldn't agree more with those words

Humor aside... (I know you, Justin.
)
Why do you think that is so?

Why are you surprised? This is the SECOND time that California voters expressed their opinions as such.Valkenar wrote:
