So quick to kill so many
So quick to repeat the horrors of war
So quick to raise a flag as a reason
To do unto others
What to you was done before

History unheeded cannot teach
Rewalking paths we promised not to tread
Dehumanizing the living
We become the walking dead

Once the world is blind
We will wonder how
We lost the gift of sight
Forgetting the lessons
Of ancient times
Might is not often right

And so we show our children
Kill those who cause who pain
And yet another generation
Lives and dies in vain
