Being computer illiterate can be scary at times. Image Like this morning when that e-mail arrived. No subject no sender just an attachment.

I put the cursor over the paper clip and it showed a file ILOCGFIL.EXE .

Hiding behind that little paperclip is some kind of auto run program I suspect.

Has anyone ever heard of this file is this a virus,I'm thinking I should just delete the whole e-mail.

I need some advice.

Uglyelk,
More then likey yes it's some evil code.
This should be everyones #1 rule:
If you don't normaly get attachements from some one DELETE it and ask them if the ment to send it. May sound rude but most people just don't send attachments with a 1 line description.

Rule of thumb is if you don’t know it, throw it.

Get Norton or some other inoculator to help defend yourself from getting trashed.

In today’s cyber-medieval times, one must build a strong, tall castle surrounded by a piranha-filled moat and keep the drawbridge up.

It’s going to get worse before it gets better.
