no no no no.

The Hello World one. But... The focus is setting up the workspace, creating a project, running it, and watching it run in DOSland.

Last count, there are 6 enrolled although I have not published everyones names yet.

Arnie, how is your team doing with the class project so far?

I edited the next lesson last night and will proofread it tonight [it'll be late] and then post it before I go to bed. I'll post two more lectures this weekend as well as a lecture on the class project. If you can, email your assignment back, in whatever shape it will be in, by midnight Friday night.

If you get a chance between now and then read about "include files," "function prototypes," as well as "include guards" in your K & R book. Mine is at work right now else I'd point you to the pages. Just read and assimilate whatever you can as a prep to the class-project lecture where I've already explained-away.

Also read about C's four "types" and the "printf" function in a similar manner to prep for my lectures this weekend.

That's it for now, I'm outta here until late this evening.

Good Luck!!!!!

BTW: I'll be available for consultation here and tutoring by email Saturday and Sunday evenings if anyone gets stuck and no one else can unstuck them, as I prepare next week's lectures.

Allen,
I'm good to go, though it will be a while until I receive my text.

One suggestion for easier logistics might be for you to create a complete, developing syllabus on your Deep Sea website where all the lectures, assignments, hints, comments, etc. are located in one place. So, it's not necessary to scan all the individual posts.

Thanks,
John

Thanks for the tip and good catch, John.

Let's see if I can fix that before I post this lecture. I'll reorganize the directory structure on my website to make it easier for you to grab the lectures.
