The differences between men and women re: Condition Yellow!

The following URL will link you to a discussion on the Filipino Martial Arts Forum (FMA) of BladeForums.com. Van has quoted from this Forum; both David and I frequent this Forum, and I find the people on it generally civil and often knowledgable.

Donna Barras is a Forum Moderator who started this discussion on the differences between what makes men and what makes women feel they are in potential danger. I suspect many of you could add intelligent thoughts to the discussion, both here and on BladeForums, and I hope that you will.

There are even fewer women posting over there than here!

A new personal triumph for me - it took only 3 tries to get URL right! Image

Thanks for the link student!

To all: A good topic - please take a look and feel free to post commentary here. This revisits a topic Cecil brought up a while ago - I believe the thread was titled "Women rather make friends than fight" in response to some study that was published in an article on the AP wire. The article points out many things we already know as a matter of course - but when contemplating martial arts and/or self-defense - it is interesting to look at the different ways men and women respond to threat and how/if we can work with this knowledge.
