When humanity was very young thousands of years ago we used to roll around in the mud and thought it was great fun. Such is the simple pleasures of youth and lack of experience with other things.
However, humanity grew up and realized that
truly civilized and sophisticated creatures
do not roll around in the mud.
When humanity with all of its experience decides rolls around in the mud again then we will be civilized.
Osu!

"When human beings lose their connections to nature, to heaven and earth, then they do not know who to nurture their environment or how to rule their world -- which is saying the same thing. Humans destroy their ecology at the same time they destroy one another. From that perspective, healing our society goes hand in hand with healing our personal, elemental connection with the phenomenal world."
--- Chogyam Trungpa ... The Sacred Path of the Warrior
It seems to me that the more man becomes civilized, the more he/she looses his naturalness. And as blessed and exciting technology is ... it forces us to become less aware of our surroundings and the interrelationships of life. If we lose the imagination, mystery and magic ... can loss of passion be far behind?

<<He requires a physical structure to ascend him into the heavens>>
Interesting thought ... do you think that the internet was created because we haven't developed our naturalness of telepathy?
<<Lest not forget that the word "Karate" is actually two words which mean "Empty hand". This means that as Karateka we can change the world with nothing more than our inspiration.>>
Beautifully said and often forgotton. Thanks!
