Hi,

I just discovered this forum. I have been practicing Uechi-ryu for almost one year. I am very enthusiastic about the style and my study of it. I am wondering what books and videos you would recommend so I could further my study of the martial arts.

I have enjoyed reading the forum and look forward to participating with you in the future.

Hi 4W.

I recommend "Uechi Ryu Karate Do" by George Mattson (of this site), the earlier "The Way of Karate" also by George Mattson, and Alan Dollar's book "Mysteries of Okinawa aand Secrets of Uechi Ryu" ...all these books will give you some solid background and "thinking material" as you progress.
And, congratulations on starting the journey!
The biggest step is the first one and we ALL know that!
