This one is more specific:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdljzbHE ... ed&search=

My personal experience with Americans, as well as countless wasted hours on forums tells me that this is definatly a minority within the population.

That said, the fact that such people exist, and they DO exist(even in canada, ive even heard some canadians say that Alberta has no cities and is just prairie, which is not true) and im sure there are such people in Britian and australia.

All that said......

HOW do such people exist? How is that possible? I mean what?

In the second video i posted though, it seems some people are baited.

Just like you said, it's bait to get people riled up. I don't believe that people can be this ignorant... I'm in denial.

I've met many people that really are just that stupid.

I couldn't figure it out until I realized there isn't much of a survival need to know who the PM of England is. I'm guessing what we consider basic intelligence (e.g. not being f***ing retarded) is just sort of a by product of our evolution to be smart enough to survive.

Every US foreign poster on here (and most Us citizens) would recongnise the ignorant or/and arrogant American sterotype .

the fact is it`s a stereotype , and yes like any stereotype theres often a little truth in there , but I got to agree stupidity is everywhere .

And Adam just to put it in perspective , during my first trip to Canader ;) I beat a group of Canadians at Canadian trivial pursuit ...... (once I figured out the answer to every sporting question was Wayne Gretzky)
