The 2009 Okinawa World Karate/Kobudo Kata Championships will be held on Okinawa August 14-16, 2009.

The Okinawa Dento Karate/Kobudo Shinkokai will be offering training from the below teachers over a two day period.

The training and tournament will be in the Okinawan Budokan in Naha, Okinawa.

We are currently making travel, housing and training arrangements for those interested in attending. Please e-mail seibukan@karate-do.org if you are interested in attending.

The next issue of Classical Fighting Arts magazine will have more information on the tournament and events.

The purpose of the event is to present Dento (Traditional) Okinawa Karate/Kobudo to the world. Hundreds of participants for the competition and training. If you are interested in attending this event I advise you to begin now making reservations and insuring you participation in this unique opportunity to train with the best of Okinawa.
