Hey, Van!

Lately I've been getting "self defense" gis from Kwon because they can be used for grappling and yet aren't as bulky as a judo gi.

I haven't been happy with the fit of a gi for a while. I understand they get their Shureido gis individually tailored on Okinawan. I may have to resort to that. Unfortunately my tailor complains that my gis break her needles.

A word of warning...I wear size 5 1/2 in most gi brands, but size 4 in Kwon. They are sized quite differently. Read the charts.
