Devasting Loss to me and The community

I am sure you who have hearts felt them skip a beat upon the passing of John V. Summers of Uechi-ryu karate it was two weeks ago, I am still a bit stunned. His death hit me hard, and the owners of the Quincy dojos perhaps even harder. I really do not know what else I say.


He was certainly one of the most beloved leaders of the Uechi world, and I say this this with no disrespect directed towards any other super senior sensei' we have amongst us.
