I have an interesting video clip that I would like to post to one of the forums. How is that done? Also, what about a still picture? Is the process of attaching a file to a post the same for all file types?
Thanks.

Tech question re. forum posting
Gentlemen, welcome to the forums.
Stuart,
If you have a place to put the clip, you can use html within the forum to set up a link to the clip. These forums also have a unique "UBB code" you can use. (CLICK HERE FOR UBB CODE) If you don't have a place for your clip, you can email me the clip and I'll put it on the server for you. I can also put it on the multimedia page if you'd like. To do so I will need your permission and you must hold the rights to have it posted. All copyrights will be acknowledged to you. (We must cover our butts.)
If you haven't visited our video page yet, click on the link below in my signature or on the link just below the banner at the top of the page.
Alan,
Don't worry about being new to computers. We are here to help if you need any. We even have a spell checker now if you wish to use it.
Enjoy!

Scott,
I do not have a place to post the clip to, and would like to take you up on your offer to post it for me. I just need your e-mail address. Please post it here, or e-mail me at zav@flashcom.net.
Thanks, Mitch

Alan,
A good method to use while remaining in familiar territory is to do all your composing with your favorite word processor to get the bugs out of it first, then copy and paste it into this "Your Reply" box.
