No this isn't about Trump. Hungarian-born Israeli martial artist Imi Lichtenfeld had developed a form of martial arts which uses European boxing, wrestling, and street fighting. It emphasizes aggression, simultaneous defensive and offensive maneuvers to defend himself and his Jewish neighbors against attackers during the anti-Semitic violence. After immigrating to Mandatory Palestine in the late 1940s, he began training Jewish paramilitary groups. His fighting techniques were soon called Krav Maga, which is 'contact combat' in Hebrew. Like karate, strikes are aimed at the most vulnerable parts of the body.
The simultaneous defensive and offensive maneuvers reminds me of George Mattson's demonstration in Fox 35 TV when his punch intercept simultaneously hits the opponent's face.

Re: Maga
Jodan zuki uke is the move George demonstrated there. It is a favorite technique of Takashi Kinjo (a student of Seiki Itokazu who was a student of Kanei Uechi) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DNPg3WsSjE

Thanks for the video link. Amazing control! Fists stopped so close to the face that the slightest miscalculation will result in teeth getting knocked out. Blocking the Ryote Tsuki Uke looks challenging because of needing to track both hands.
