Has anyone seen the new Bank of America commercial featuring the female TKD/Karate practitioner? It shows her preparing to spar with two male black belts. After trouncing them both (or was she just visualizing it?), the narrator (the little boy who narrates all of their commercials) asks, "What is possible?"
She is then shown leaving the training hall and it turns out that she is blind!!!
The narrator then asks, "Does achivement discriminate... or does it open its doors to everyone?"
What an awesome, inspiring commercial! You've got to see it. Heck, I might even change banks/ investment brokers in tribute to their fine advertisement! Who knows?

Vanguard-sama,
WOW! Flashback!
Back in about 1968, I attended a martial arts demo in San Francisco. A visiting Kendo Shihan was doing the demonstration of multiple opponent defense. 4-to-1 odds, his opponents at the 4 corners of the tatami.
In one blisteringly fast series of four cuts, he nailed all four of his opponents with killing blows (kendo armor and shinai swords kept any actual damage from happening, of course).
When he doffed his Men (helmet), I almost fell over. There were no eyes in his eyesockets! I still marvel at his skill and precision.
I just wish I could remember his name.
Respectfully,
