High Gear Suit - it is time to commit!!!!!

Post by RACastanet »

To all: It is time to step up and purchase a High Gear Impact Reduction Suit. As we were not able to get commitments for 20 suits I went to Mr. Blaur and he has offered another option. With 12 suits, the price will be $825 each US plus about $50 S&H plus a credit card service fee.

The orders must be bundled to get the price break. GEM sensei will set up a secure order point for us to enter our credit card # and our 'ship to' address.

We should not wait for others to sign up to try for another $25 off of the price as that might take months. Once George has the minimum the order will go out and anyone missing the boat will have to pay the full $900 if they want one.

I'm going to be the first in line when GEM starts taking orders. Who will be next??? (George, be sure to let me know when the site is ready.)

Regards, Rich

I've just created a secure store site for gathering our orders. Rich tells me that if we get 12 suits, the cost will be $825. If we get 20 suits, the cost will be $800.

Shipping and handling will vary, depending on where they will be shipped. Rich says the approximate cost will be $50.

It looks like we will have orders for 12 suits. If we end up with 20 or more, I will refund any overpayment. Please go to: http://cgi2.safeshopper.com/cgi-shl/foxweb.exe/q:/prg/fm/details.prg?prod=119&75759 and place your order.

A few comments about Tony's suits:
-There is no small size
-XL and XXL cost more $$$$
-The suits are 'athletic cut'. Large shoulders, small waist.

As a reference (if you have seen me at camp or otherwise) I am a tick over 6'1" in my bare feet, weigh 200 pounds, have a 36-38" waist, 46-48" chest, 32" inseam, wear a 17 1/2" neck and 36" sleeves on my shirts. I tried on a suit at camp and the 'Large' fit me like a glove. There was virtually no skin showing so it was a great fit.

The order will not go in until George sensei can order at least 12, so get your order in now or you will be holding the rest of us up!

Thanks for all the orders. Susan will hold on to the orders (and won't charge your card) until we have a minimum of 12 orders in hand. At that time I'll contact Tony to determine delivery time and shipping charges. At that time we will confirm your order and charge your card.

Keep those orders coming in!

Where theis this process now? Is it too late?

As I said on another thread, I had no idea that this was being done. In the future, may I request that something like this be posted on all the forums or at least the ones on top of the line.

Thanks,

David

Hello again. The order has not yet been sent to Mr. Blauer as we are not up to 12 yet. The secure order link to GEM's 'gift shop' is up above in this thread.

Not to worry David. We have a ways to go before we meet the minimum quota.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Unfortunately, the degree to which I would like these products failed to sway the Chief Financial Officer, who informed me in no uncertain terms that there will be no more big dojo purchases this year.

You would understand if you saw my dojo income and outgo Image "Do you think that I buy all this stuff on the $1.35 an hour that I make teaching?"

Take care, enjoy, and save one for me when I visit.
