I've been enjoying your haiku(s). Could you give us some background on what a haiku is -- history, how to write one, etc.?

Sean, I must agree with Jackie. I've really been enjoying them also...especially the Muttering haiku - I laughed out loud at that one. Keep going, you have a great talent!!!

I wrote one a long time ago but I lost the notebook I wrote it in. I've been going crazy trying to remember it so i could post it here.

Thanks for the kind words.

Sorry, I don't know anything about haiku. I do know that there are different kinds, besides the 5/7/5 syllable format.

I haven't seen any in long time, but I think the real one's are usually descriptive, very simple and beautiful.

Hmm.. I'm gonna have to get a book of traditional haiku. Good for the soul.

Maybe the next time a have a few beers, I'll come up with some more.
