NO NO for NOMO

Japanese citizen Hideo Nomo of the Boston Red Sox just threw a no hitter against the Baltimore Orioles.

As a lifelong member of the Red Sox all I can say is:

A special thanks to second Baseman Mike Lansing for a spectacular catch in short centerfield with one out in the 9th.


If you have seen Nomo pitch, you are aware that he gets the ultimate perfection of rotation and uncoiling snake like action with absoulutely fantastic control. Every fastball he threw hit the catchers mitt before he planted his foot even in the eight and ninth innings.

Keep up the good work Hideo. We Red Sox fans need you and Pedro to bring the World Championship flag back to Boston.
