Glenn,

It is doubtful, because I work on both of those days...BUT...I will give it a try. I live and work on the west side, and traffic's a breeze on Sunday. So, I'll see what I can do.

Our film... "FIRST TIME" nearly sweeps the awards!

Post by KarateKid »

"FIRST TIME" nearly sweeps the awards with three nominations in all three judges awards!

METHOD FEST AWARDS 2003

*** MARC OVERHOLT ***

Nominee and WINNER of THE JUDGES AWARD AS THE BEST ACTOR IN A SHORT FILM ("FIRST TIME")

*** VICTORIA COLLIER ***

NOMINATED for THE JUDGES AWARD FOR BEST ACTRESS IN A SHORT FILM ("FIRST TIME")

*** "FIRST TIME" ***

NOMINATED for THE JUDGES AWARD FOR BEST SHORT FILM

Congratulations to Marc and Victoria! Without you, there wouldn't be a "FIRST TIME"!

Its a weird feeling sitting in the audience not really expecting anything and the next thing you know you hear the names of your actors called out as Nominees... then when they announce that one of your actors has won an award for BEST ACTOR you think you're dreaming - in shock... and you settle in and realize that you wrote what they did on screen... and your best friend directed them…

…its a good feeling – A GREAT FEELING!

Then to top it off, they announce YOUR FILM... the one that you wrote, the one your buddy produced and directed… as a nominee for Best Film!

WOW! What an experience.

I hope all of us can experience it in one way or the other!
