Just a little taste of Freedom

This is Dave Young's Forum.
Can you really bridge the gap between reality and training? Between traditional karate and real world encounters? Absolutely, we will address in this forum why this transition is necessary and critical for survival, and provide suggestions on how to do this correctly. So come in and feel welcomed, but leave your egos at the door!

This was bound to happen as soon as the coalition showed up. The shroud of fear has been lifted.

It would be overkill and showing off a bit if the troops moved everyone away from that monument and then simply blasted it with a round from a tank. But, it sure would be a sight!! Maybe let one of the locals fire the shot?

And, BTW, what are all the naysayers and anti-war mongers saying about the rapid liberation of that country? "Yeah but, where are the WOMD?" What about the reporters that died? and so on and so on. They must all be running to their therapists right about now.

And does the LaLa Land Times ever even take a peek at FOX news to see what's really going on in Iraq? Their headlines read like we still have the fight of the century still ahead.

The weapons of mass destruction? Oh, you mean the ones belonging to the Iraqi military. We all know the US is using weapons of mass destruction in the form of depleted uranium tipped shells and bombs, but will deny the danger associated with these weapons ad infinitum.

Our boys and girls will return home, get the same syndrome as the last bunch, and the Republicans will cut VA benefits again as they always do cuz they are so concerned for our troops and their welfare.

Let us all watch FOX News and dream wittle dreams of fair and balanced coverage. Why not just call it "All IRAQ All The Time" channel?

One of the best parts about supporting an evil dictator for well over a decade is that in the end you get to self righteously proclaim him as being so heinous that no one should support him and then you get to take over their country in an effort to free them from the very dictator that we so gleefully supported in the first place.......

#1 They are not "Weapons of Mass Destruction."

Now, you can come back and whine that they are, the simple fact of the matter is, they are not. You're simply wrong. Further, I don't know that they are used on bombs, I think they are primarily utilized with 120mm tank rounds and 30mm (chain gun - cannon) rounds used against tanks. They are penetrators, they're not "Weapons of Mass Destruction."

#2 I won't pretend to know the dangers, real or perceived, to the Military Personnel who are using them. To be perfectly honest with you, if they are a great danger to our Military Personnel or to the surrounding, innocent populace, perhaps there should be more safeguards in place or they should be eliminated from the stockpiles.

One of the most refreshing things about you is the fact you make grand assumptions. How do you know the "syndrome," I assume you are speaking of "Gulf War Syndrome," how do you know it is caused by these munitions?

Also, if I give you 50.00 per month and you want 100.00 per month and I decide to give you 75.00, that's not a "cut." If an Employer pays you 10.00 per hour and you want a two dollar an hour raise and he only gives you one dollar per hour, that's not a cut.

Typical Democrat Propaganda, comes in handy for those pesky Social Security and Medicare "cuts" too.

You would prefer Al-Jazeera as Jorvik suggested in the last several days, eh? Or perhaps that goofy, lying bastard of a Media Minister or Minister of Propaganda who kept coming on the news over the past few days in Iraq saying that American Forces at the International Airport were annihilated and all of that?

Doctor Bob Arnot, an embedded journalist with the Marines, he is with NBC News. NBC, a real conservative news organization (yeah right). He is in Baghdad now. He said women came out to kiss his hands, he was swamped, men kissed both sides of his face, people yelled at him, "Bush! Bush! Bush! Go USA!"

Face it, you're on the wrong side.

Oh, I detect such hurt feelings. Are you upset the "Mad Mullahs" did not get to overthrow him and then beat people for not having the proper beard length (Afghanistan) or perhaps pull out women's fingernails for wearing nail polish (Afghanistan, again, Taliban...)?

We are having a great day! Thank you for the thoughts and concerns about our day to day existence.

Cheer up and quit belching about this, you look silly doing so. It's a great day and alot of good people have been hurt in the past and the present and they have to be taken care of. But alot more extremely horrible people have been put down like the dogs they were.
