It is a terrible misuse of an air gun. My heart goes out to the family. However once again. We get the knee jerk reaction and now the PC crowd wants to ban all firearms. It never ends with these folk.
What's next wrist rockets?..........And if someone uses a screwdriver as a shank lets ban those too?
These rabid anti projectile folks must be stopped they are out of control. I have a neighbor who is one of these zealots.
This summer the kids in our neighbor hood have been making and playing with bows. Why not we live on the Bow river, named by the Sarcee because the banks of this river provides superior bow making materials.

Then the rabid anti bow neighbor reared his ugly head. Apparently on of the local kids in appropriately pointed his bow in the wrong direction. This irrate father grabbed the bow from the kid, and broke it. He then screamed and yelled at the kid. I did not witness the event but my wife said the guy was out of control, she thought the guy was going to hit the kid, and almost phoned the police.
My son has been afraid to play with his bow since then. We went on vacation and came back one week later. My kids only shoot at trees. My daughter left her bow on the doorstep when we to a wedding in the afternoon. When we came back we found the bow broken in half next to a garbage bin.
I had come to Jesus meeting with the guy today. He did not steal it off my doorstep, so I didn't send him to his maker. His 6-year-old son did and brought it to him to destroy.

We had a heated discussion and although I had him lined up I never dropped the hammer on him, but I sure wanted to put the arrogant little #### to sleep. We managed to resolve the issue. He now understands the consequences of interfering with my children. He now understands he is welcome to his values and beliefs but he is not in a position of forcing them on my family.
It will be interesting to see how this idiot controls him self over the coming week.
I'm weary of those who would force their values upon me. Gun control, BB control, Now it's kids bows,
