She is a republican. She was never elected, rather appointed, therefore she was never a real governor. When it came time for elections, however, the polls were hotly against her for numerous reasons, therefore she quit her bid for election citing that she'd rather take care of her family, a novel and nobel concept, than stay in the elections.
Definitely her taxpayer spending habits were not typical repulican.
Things look good for Kerry. I can hardly wait to see what kind of stuff the Republican campaighn machine will dig up.
It's not the republicans who sometimes discover sorry, sordid, and sometimes immoral details, rather it's the hungry news media which thrives on sensationalism, who are about to whip up a gourmet dish of
Kerrygate Mystery Meat real soon. Will his goose be cooked or will his hands be washed are the two big questions of interest of late.
Panther writes about the Kennedys in this state. He's right. They do walk on water with the multitudes of Massatwoshitters giving them the aura of mini-gods.
pointing out all the "pork" he gets us!
Starting with JFK in the 60s with NASA, Route 128 received a golden booster shot of Washington Greens in the arm and continues to this day to rival Silicon Valley in Cafilornia. Keep me working and off state aid, and I'll cast a Kennedy vote any day in a heartbeat.
Panther writes also of his unhappiness with a current administration direction. If it is the issue of which I am thinking, then both he and I are unhappy with the same issues, issues which are enough for me to cast my vote into the other camp.
Presitential elections, to me, are not about picking the right man for the job, rather to attempt to select the one who seems to be capable of doing the least damage while in office. If I can't trust an individual because he [or she, thinking of one senator] speaks for the moment, lies through the teeth, changes colors like a chamelion just to get votes, and other less-than honorable attributes, then what's the purpose in voting for that one?
BTW, Bart. Six weeks overdue, she finally arrived from Kansas City on Monday; Outstanding and simply beautiful.
Always with an even keel.
