I found this Chicago news report fairly amusing. At one point he smacks the reporter across her neck to no effect, which is worth the download by itself.

Take a look at the Uechi ryu home page under articles you can find a scientific study Dr. Glasheen did to prove or misprove the existance of Chi.
Maybee it only works on those who believe in it
Found a video clip with similiar properties to the touchless attack or what ever that guy did.

My computer at work won't download the clips so I'll have to view later.
Let me guess. The practitioner is using dim mak points that cause knock out (or don't?). Are these in fairly obvious places, like the mastoid/carotid sinus on the side of the neck, or are they more esoteric?
Years ago I watched a video of Sensei Millman do these "incredible" knockouts on people with dim mak, which he learned from from Seiyu Oyata, the famous Okinawan pressure point instructor. Some of them looked very effective, if you get past that everybody there were among the converted, but many of the points he struck required such a complex set up and a sitting duck partner that they simply looked rediculous from a real-life perspective.
Jim Maloney's pressure point video, it's one of the Video Mags, is a good example of the stuff that is generally dependable and accessible, by contrast.

And Jimmy Malone's stuff is largely the work of Bruce Siddle and his PPCT program. Bruce visited a Uechi camp in the 1980s, and I had the privilege (??) of being his uke. Bruce is an often-quoted author in the RBSD and LEO arenas.
Remember that Mr. Dillman is a man who enjoys the stage. Much of what he does for public consumption is the fantastic, and certainly wouldn't pass the scrutiny of a RCT. However he is a trendsetter, and deserves credit where credit is due.
When he gets into the "no touch" stuff, that's when I have to take a pass.
I'll comment further when I get on a computer that can get to the referenced site. "Big Brother" here at work doesn't like that site.

SUGGESTION CAN WORK WONDERS!

Maybe he'd be willing to be systematically studied. He did let a reporter and a bunch of jujitsu students all but prove the only people he could KO were his own trainees. Take home message for me from this 7th degree blackbelt: highly effective in cases of mutiny, but otherwise woouldn't rely on it.

OK, I've had a chance to look at it.
This is where Mr. Dillman (and his students) have indeed gone off the deep end. I've given my friend Mr. Pantazi grief over this very issue.
It seems that some martial artists are looking, looking, looking for that latest "edge" and "gimmick" that'll get more students to sign up. Indeed the guy actually got free publicity in the newscast - complete with phone number to sign up.
If this gentleman (or Evan) want to test this no touch business at camp, well we'd be happy to oblige. But in the mean time, it appears that it doesn't take a scientist to see it for what it is. Good for Fox News!
