I used to work at Fenway and trust me, the place is cursed.
There will never be another world series win and the babe is angry they tore down his house.
But he will make us all suffer none the less.
How many World series has the Braves, the real Boston ball team won?
As far as the election goes. I can't believe those two are all we have to choose from.
I may have to pick Kerry because we both ski.

WHO'S YOUR DADDY?
It's explained all right here:
http://www.allsports.com/mlb/yankees/frommer42.htm
The dark age of Boston baseball can be traced directly to the sale of Babe Ruth to the Yankees. Beginning in 1919 the BoSox began a 15-year steak of losing campaigns, dropping at least 100 games in a season five times, and at least 90 games five more times. Last place finishers in that era nine times, they were a sad excuse for a baseball franchise.
The golden age of Yankee baseball can be traced directly to their acquisition of the George Herman Ruth. The Yankees have won 26 world titles since the Red Sox won their last.

The battle isn't over yet, oh villain of
the dark side. And it never will be. The good side of the force is with us, and we will battle you to the last man!
Nice pitching performance, BTW...
Pedro did just fine. Incredible, in fact. He was a little too emotional (and wild) in the first inning. No matter. All the damage that needed to be done happened with that one bad pitch. When your boys don't score, that's all it takes.
Gotta hand it to Rivera, no? That man can place a fastball on a target the size of a dime. The Red Sox obviously showed they can hit him. Problem is, they lose a lot of bats when they put their legendary power on a pitch that hits the handle...

But Manny (and others) have shown he's mortal. The Red Sox are keepers of his only losses this year.
Back to my personna...
You'd better keep up the abuse, Scotty. Big time. Because the day the Red Sox take the Evil Empire, I promise you I will not be very nice...
Be filthy. Be mean. Be a damn Yankee!

Did anybody catch Pedro's speech about game 2.
Something about a mango tree and not having bus fare.
He'll be a Yankee soon........
If you can make it there.....
you'll make it anywhere..........

No curse?

So I'm a little bitter since 1986. I'm not alone.

Don't worry - I've hired some chi-sters to send some negative "empty force" against the Yankees. Evan's sending some yin from his geographic location, and it's going to interact with my yang from down here, and zap them all in LF37 (left nut 37).
Bambino my butt... Anybody bother to learn how to play baseball?

Babe who?
I'll take the Red Sox position any day. The Yankees feel like they are entitled, and suffer from ulcers if they can't make it every year. Meanwhile, a Red Sox fan needs just one ALCS win or a trip to the World Series to be in heaven.
And all it will take is the next World Series win, and that'll last them another century.
Poor Yankees... (Not)

Remember this is the team who couldn't win with Ted Williams.
You had better watch out Bill.
The locals down there may think your a northern sympathizer.......

Don't tell anyone around here, but my great granddad fought for the Union Army.
Someone today was just asking me why I didn't have a southern accent.

Comes from growing up in southeast Virginia, with the high percentage transient military population.
Richmond just happens to be the most recent place where I hung my hat.
