My favorite is the Self Defense uniform from Kwon.

Complete Uniform

Pants only

It works both for karate and for grappling. Nice all around gi.

Be sure you first check the sizing charts. This is a German company (though the gis are made wherever the supplier is best at any one point in time), and their gis are much bigger than those that come from Japan, Okinawa, or elsewhere. The sizing chart will get it right for you.

I bought aKI brand Gi in Boston China town back in 1995 for $80.00. I didn't use it for about four years but for the past 3 1/2 years it gets used on average once a week. It's been through a lot.. even quite a few bleached loads, which can corode materials. If you follow the link you'll see the mark up on the Gi was outrageous

If your willing to shell out some big bucks shoredo has some great Gi's. They run a bit large. I got a #7 for x mass and had to send it back for a #6. That has been worn only a few times though because even that runs big (getting it altered is on the to do list). But Shoredo seems to be a favorite.

Get a heavy weight Judo gi and wear it with a T-shirt to save your chest. Impossible to tear.

Thanks all for the great advice I made the decision to order a KI gi from the site Ben provided and much thanks to him because for the money that is an awesome deal on other sites they want like 80 dollars and up for the same gi..This looks like a deal that's hard to beat so I'm going to jump on it and place an order for one thanks Ben and all..

I hope yours holds up as well as mine has. It's a nice "snappy" Gi that pops when you do kata :)
