Useful. At work, I once found a way to consistently crash Windows by forcing the C++ compiler to stop during compiling. Usually, the BSOD is from bad hardware though it doesn't always bring it up. My previous computer, which I happily dumped the pieces to Microcenter recycling, had a poor graphics card which caused it to randomly reboot while doing graphics work. It was getting to the point where I spent almost as much time recovering data loss than actual work. Doing graphics work for karate, I appreciate the need for great hardware.
