Cable modem is in the cards

Finally am getting short on patience with, tired of, repeatedly getting disconnected by my ISP, ici.net, every few minutes; the line just "kicks-out."

MediaOne has cable connections in Foxboro now, and I have found another to host my domain, so it'll be time to move on shortly.

The problem with a cable modem is that it is insecure and one really needs a firewall for protection against invaders. Some companies I have worked at get over 30,000 hits a day trying to break through their firewall, but without one, their servers and mainframes would be helplessly brought to their knees.
