Invisible Centerline attacks?
I was surfing the forums and I noticed Jim's signature and was intrigued by it. What is a leakage attack and invisible centerline attack?
Jim could you explain these concepts to me?
Cheers

Kung Fu fighting
We run across this at the Banff dojo with people who have trained in other dojo's. In a bunkai they throw one punch but then have trouble continueing the attack, the pause has been engrained. Luckily Laird (and my Tai Chi) has encouraged a flowing attack, striking with whatever weapon is closest at ...

WCK punches
Very, very interesting stuff Jim. Personally I don't know why you'd punch with a fist at all on a heavy bag.. open hand shots will never mess up your hands or wrists. (or rarely anyways)

Tai Chi newbie
Hey Maxwell,
Slow is definitely the way to go in my books, my shoulder got blown out by doing too much hard kata. Now I do all my kata's slow once, then fast, then as slow as possible.
Jorvik, I would love to get into a class where they do full contact tai chi fighting, but I know it usually takes ...

Skree field Sanchin
Well I climbed Haling peek in canmore and proceeeded to skree surf down while doing sanchin. It was quite challenging of course. The wauke's are especially fun. Working with timing on the thrusts while lunging down the loose rock was also interesting

Tai-Chi Chuan and Karate principles in Sports
Greetings all,
Today at my soccer game I realized that my throw-in wasn't exactly the strongest, considering some of my teammates could throw the ball half the field.
I got to thinking how I could improve my throw.. As I was doing my Tai-chi set. One thing lead to another and I realized if i could ...
